Syracuse Heritage Day Parade

Braxton and Grandma at the parade
Braxton's hat is too little! Can you tell?!!
Braxton loved the fire trucks and Police cars
I think we pooped him right out!
On June 28th, Eric had to work in the morning, so my mom came with Braxton and me to the Syracuse Parade. Braxton went last year, but didn't know what was going on since he was only a month old. So, this year I was excited to see how he liked the parade. And he loved it! He kept mimicking the sound of the sirens. The fire trucks and police vehicles were his favorite. He did like getting to have candy thrown at him too! There was another part that was absolutely hilarious, but my camera was put away when it happened, but a float came by that was decorated as a pirate ship. People walking with the float were dressed as pirates and were holding swords and walking up to people watching the parade. All of the pirates would pass Braxton without really noticing him, but one picked him out of the crowd to come up to! He had a long sword and began scraping it against the pavement. As he came toward Braxton he got closer and closer to his face, until he was staring right at him. Braxton was as still as ever. He looked amused, but scared to death! Then the pirate left and he just kept watching him. It made me laugh so hard. In all, we had a very nice time and then Eric came and we all went to the park for some lunch and to walk around for a little bit. What a fun day.

That sounds like you guys had so much fun! We took Kaden and he did NOT enjoy the sirens...way too loud for him. I hope you don't mind me blogstalking you! :)
